French know-how

Demak’Up is a brand with French know-how. All our cottons are manufactured at the Hondouville factory in the Eure department. We strive to limit our industrial waste: 100% of the cotton scraps generated during the manufacture of Demak’Up cottons are reintegrated into the production process.

French know-how

French know-how

Our cotton is manufactured in the Eure department, at the Hondouville factory. More than 140 employees are involved in the production of our products at our French factory. Today, our factory is ISO 14001 certified.

This certification means we follow specific standards to implement an effective environmental management system aimed at optimising resources and minimizing our environmental impact (waste management, air, water, noise and visual pollution, energy consumption, etc.).

Demak’Up uses an exclusive and patented manufacturing process to produce high-quality cotton. We select the best cotton fibers to create the cotton sheets from which the discs are cut. The fibers are assembled using the hydro-bonding process: this technique intertwines the fibers with high-pressure water jets, making the hydro-bonded cotton stronger and ensuring it does not lint.

Our production process

Our production process

Limiting industrial waste and preserving natural resources is a major concern for Demak’Up. We proudly use combing quality cotton fibers from the textile industry for our production. These fibers have proven to be ideal as raw materials for the manufacture of our famous make-up remover cotton pads. The remaining off-cuts, also known as ‘lace,’ are recycled into unbleached cotton fibers, which are then reused in the manufacture of cotton. No waste!

Demak'Up cotton is made from natural fibres. It is also in this approach that our unbleached Demak'Up cotton is born. For its manufacture, we have reduced the processing stages of the cotton in order to offer you an even more natural product.
